Anyone who is pursuing a Standard Teaching Certificate is required to go through the process of being fingerprinted and background-checked through TEA before moving forward with the Certificate program. This requirement will need to be completed by the end of Course 1.
The fingerprints need to be linked to your TEAL account in ECOS. If they are not linked, you will need to submit a help desk ticket with TEA and request for your fingerprints to be linked. If you did not go through IdentoGO, you will need to have your fingerprints completed again.

You must first verify with your prior EPP if you were marked as a finisher/completer. If you were coded as a “finish/completer” for the same certificate area you are seeking with Teach Us, you will likely need to return to your former EPP to complete the Certificate. If you were not marked as a “finisher/completer,” then you will need to ask your former EPP to fill out a transfer form for Teach Us.
You have completed all the coursework and clinical practice required for your certificate and only have exam(s) left to pass before being recommended for your Standard Certificate.
If you’re not enrolling into the same certification area, you will still need to request a transfer form.
Our program provides everything you need including test preparation, required certification coursework and support through our custom payment options that make sense for you and your budget. Candidates only pay a one-time enrollment fee of $295 during the enrollment process and can choose from one of the following program payment options.
