Delve into the impact of science on daily life, exploring decisions influenced by ethical standards, economics, and societal needs. Lay the groundwork for successful science teaching with insights into unifying concepts and the evolution of scientific principles.
  • On the second day, we will dive into Competencies 004 to 006, immersing in the unifying concepts and processes that span across all sciences. Analyze patterns, interactions between systems, and the complementary nature of form and function. Gain insights into teaching strategies, addressing misconceptions, and designing hands-on learning experiences. This day equips you with the tools to navigate the intricate world of science concepts and instructional practices.
  • On the third day, we will focus on Competencies 007 and 008, understanding forces and motion and the varied assessments for monitoring science learning. Explore the properties of universal forces and the relationship between force and motion in different scenarios. Learn to assess students effectively, using formal and informal methods, and communicate evaluation criteria. This day provides a well-rounded approach to both theoretical and practical aspects of science education.
  • Day 4 will conclude the series with a comprehensive exploration of Competencies 009 to 018, covering topics such as energy transformations, the structure and function of living things, and Earth systems. Gain insights into the conservation of matter and energy, the mechanisms of heredity, adaptations, and the relationships between organisms and the environment.
