An inclusive church school for the Home Educated in Birmingham, Alabama

Unless otherwise announced our meetings are the First Tuesday of each month during the school year at East Lake United Methodist Church. Please park in the church parking lot and use the main rear entrance.  Upon entering you will have no trouble finding others.  Look for the accordion file folder where you deposit your monthly progress reports and tuition.  You will usually find several sign up sheets laid out near it for various activities.

The library is open at 6:30 PM and we encourage you to check out our many wonderful resources and teaching aids.  The General Meeting begins at 7:00 PM.  The library is open again for 30 minutes after all meetings.

Our meetings begin with a General Assembly covering announcements and usually a topic feature.  We then move to our Break-Out time where we divide into groups based on age or resources.  During the Break-Out time the sign in sheet is passed around and must be signed for credit. Meetings usually last from 1-2 hours and normally are 1.5 hours in length.
