Dear Alabama Homeschooling Family,
We welcome you to the challenge of educating your own child. We hope that the coming
school year will be a time of growth for both you and your family. The following pages are
meant to be an introduction to East Lake United Methodist Church Academy and what you can
expect from our organization. We want you to become familiar with us, how our school
operates, and what we can offer you, as well as what we expect from our faculty members.
We want to hear from you. We are more than happy to listen to ideas for improvement. Let
us know if any of our forms or procedures get you in a snag! We look forward to working
with you this year. Please let us know if there is any way that we can be of help to you
as you educate your child.
Our meeting facility is in Birmingham, Alabama and while we would love to have you from
anywhere in Alabama, please consider your driving distance to monthly meetings before
considering us.
